Trent River Falls

The Trent River Falls are a wonder to see. I stop there as often as l can. It’s a short, easy to follow trail to the top of the falls. Here it gets a bit more adventurous if you want to get down to the river where the view of the falls is best. It’s a steep but short descent down, but there are ropes in place to help. These ropes are pretty handy during the muddy season. It is so worth the effort though, so take your time and get down, you will not regret it.

To reach the trailhead, park on the Inland Highway on the northbound shoulder, just past the Trent River Bridge. Look for a flat wide trail, follow this trail until you see the trail going down to the falls. do not go down the smaller trail unless you are looking for just some river views. These views are awesome though.

My wife and l recently headed down to the falls where we found several youths swimming in the river. Several of them climbed up to the top of the falls where one was adventurous enough to take a leap to the deep pool below the falls.
