The campsites themselves are wonderful, they are sandy sites that are perfect for tenters, and each has a fire pit and picnic table. The whole campground is located in an old-growth forest that surrounds you. The main roads in the campground are very well-maintained gravel roads. It all comes together to form a perfect West Coast camping experience.

Bring your RV’s, motor homes, or camp in a tent, it’s all good. Nootka Sound is perfect for boating, kayaking, or canoeing, quads are welcome. The fishing is always good. There is a fishing derby on the third week of August, all the proceeds go to the Nootka Sound Watershed Society where it is used to protect salmon habitat.

So come on up and experience West Coast camping at its finest and bring your pets as the site is pet-friendly, just clean up after them. Don’t forget your camera and take home some awesome memories.
