From Fair Harbour you can gain access by boat to the wilderness Tahsis Kwois Provincial Park which is located at the head of Kyuquot Sound and the mouth of the Tahsis River. Here you will find high and rugged mountains with valleys of giant old-growth trees. This area is a caver’s dream as there are many caves that have been found here and most likely many more to be found yet. The best way to travel to the park has to be by kayak, there is so much to see on land and in the water, you will see whales and other sealife as you travel along. During the salmon runs, you can see bears fishing in Tahsis river.
