Kunlin Lake is located just southeast of the town of Gold River, Vancouver Island, use the Ucana Road, I recommend that a truck be used, a 4×4 truck.
There is some incredible fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, and dolly varden trout in this lake. This lake offers fishing right through the summer and has a few campsites and a boat launch for your use.
The wildlife is incredible here with black bears, deer, elk, cougars, and lots of smaller forest animals like raccoons, pine martins, and squirrels, and the birdlife here is incredible so bring a camera and take home some memories. There is a huge variety of plants, flowers, and trees along the shores of this lake, come in the late spring to see the wildflowers blooming.
The outflow river is awesome to fish. I have always caught fish there.
